Great tip with Jaycar. I just went and picked up a slimline one: 5 Watt Switchmode Unregulated Ultra-Slim - Jaycar Electronics. 0.55A and the RAC12 needs 0.5A, seems perfect to me.

if your country socket is not CE or US supplied with the rac12, You need to a use a 9vcc-500mA (minimum) regulated power adapter,
Socket dimensions: diam 5.5mm outside, diam 2.1mm inside
Positive pole inside,
Others systems can damage the hardware.

Okay, thank you all, that is useful info above about MIDI merging.

I have used the Quadra and other MIDI Solutions stuff in the past. Worked perfect.

yes it should work if fcb1010 is standard din5 midi out. You will have to connect it to the RAC12 midi merge port.

Odd choice of USB connector though. It looks like a micro-B.
I would have expected a standard USB-B connector.

Does it support MIDI over the USB?

No usb port is for upgrading the firmware and programming the pages configs with rac12edit.
All the communications with the afx use the midi ports
