R2-D2.....

Saw this last night. 81 is a pretty good run, but it's still sad. R2-D2 will never be the same again. RIP Kenny.

RIP Mr. Baker...you've brought to life one of the most iconic movie characters ever and one who is a personal favorite. Thanks, and sleep well.

I remember being a young kid and seeing star wars for the first time, and just being amazed by the wonderment of it all. R2 and C3PO were my favorite characters by far. Kenny Baker, thanks for everything.

Me too...it was truly a wondrous film and especially in 1977 when everyone saw it for the first time. I remember the entire theater cheered, shouted, and clapped when Han Solo came back to help Luke in the Death Star trench, and that everyone clapped at the end of the movie. Never saw that before, or since...
