R.I.P. Scott Weiland

His voice really helped me through some rough times.

One of my favorite singers/songwriters. Saw him twice with STP and they were awesome. Sadly, it's not surprising with his addictions but a big loss to music.
 
That sucks. I too was hoping this was part of a different story. Just did a google......
Too bad. Died on my wife's birthday. I'd say I won't forget that day now , but I seem to forget her birthday every year. Maybe now I won't.
 
A mixture of sadness and being pissed off that yet another one of my favorite leads is gone at such a young age. I'm grateful to have seen STP a number of times early and in their prime. The last number of years have been very ugly indeed for him. A very dark movement, that grunge thing that I love so dearly, with its icons, Cobain, Staley, and now Weiland, all succumbing to their inner demons. WTF!
 
He's been slowly "falling to pieces" for years now!

Great talent for sure. When I first heard Plush in the early 90s I was an immediate fan & loved many other tunes.
