Sigh. RIP.

Watched him (and crew) in ABQ when young. Man had a huge talent for entertainment.

And yes, he could ball like crazy when he wanted to.

I saw the Harlem Globetrotters when I was a young boy. They were amazing.

I wish more people shared Curly’s view: “...that’s why when I look at what has changed in this country, I don’t lament what is still wrong. I think about how much has been accomplished.”

I remember being a kid and thinking that he had to be the greatest basketball player in the world. I think I thought that there was the NBA and then there was a better league where Curly played.

I remember seeing both Curly and Meadowlark play in NY.
Pure fun....remarkably talented....
