Quick control "B" not working properly

Im just wondering if someone has experienced this too.
When I for example increase gain or volume or any other control parameter with the B knob of the quick control it works fine but if I try to decrease it, it just takes several full turns to decrease the value sometimes it doesn't move at all. The work around at the moment is that I use just another quick control knob like A C or D.
Any suggestions to fix this without having to send it in (although still got warranty on it,but I don't want to give my precious away :( :) )

Nope, all mine work perfectly. Try reloading your firmware and RESET SYS PARAMS in the Utility menu, before contacting support.

I've should have been more specific. The behavior of the B knob on the front panel has been there for a while now and firmware updates or system resets didn't change anything , so I think it is a hardware related problem.
May be I should get in contact with support as you suggested
