So I'm implementing TRS expression pedal inputs. And I have a few questions....
1) How do you deal with the contacts shorting out during insertion or disconnection? If I'm supplying 3V3 to the pot and measuring the voltage on the wiper via an ADC... that causes problems.
2) Is a switching socket necessary to detect the unplugged state? Or can a pull up resistor make sure the ADC value doesn't float? What are others doing to handle that?
