Question about pinning: probably a dumb one...

I'm just getting to grips with my FM3 and FM3 Edit, both of which I really like.

I can't work out what the pin at the top of preset, cabs and amp selection windows does - what is it for? how do I use it?

I've searched here but can't get much information.

I apologise if it is a daft question.
 
Not a daft question at all. For awhile I wasn't sure how to use it. Its handy when you want to audition cabs, so you pin a cab then you can just use your up /down arrows on your keyboard to cycle through cabs from that point
 
If you let the mouse sit over the pushpin for a couple of seconds a little context-sensitive help will display "Pin window open". Hover over the M for even more information.
