I did a search and found some posts on the subject and "that shouldn't be so" seemed to be the response. Also there is mention of a circuit mod on out 2, which I'm not sure about.
Out 1 is more quiet on both balanced and unbalanced jacks. I've plugged into various sources like a Bryston power amp, Matrix, and CLR Active wedge. All results are the same. When I first got my CLR's, I thought they had a high noise floor but it was because I had them plugged into out 2. They're pretty quiet on out 1.
Checked Global EQ and Audio menu. All things are set equal.
Much less noise with the Matrix, Not sure why. Can still hear the difference, but you have to stick your ear up to the cab. The rest are very noticeable.
