Quantum D Funk Jam

Nice! Threw me back a few years when I was listening to Sco full time. I know you said earlier that this was not Scofield-inspired, but still, definitely that vibe for me. (That's a compliment!)

backing track is me playing drums and organ bass on a Korg Nano Pad/Key midi controller in realtime - using Toontrack Superior! How??? Yeah.....check out David Finger Haynes......he's doing a lot of "finger drumming too".....
Can't use my drum set in my new living room - it's to small ;)

Regarding tone: When played above the 12th fret, I think the note bloom is just very pleasing! You get a hint how the Mr. D nonHrm could sound with Quantum, if the amp is done right. I'm still not happy with it (see my other thread "Dumble again....." ), but I accept my latest tweaks as a good workaround.

Cheers and much thanks for your comments......

Here is the patch:

you can use F105 as your cabinet since I'm not allowed to post mix-IRs from Cabinet Packs. If you own Cabinet Pack 17 - use a mix between the Bludo 1x12" with 121 Royer and the Rumble 4x12 EV12L RNR D cabinet.

Cheers

PS: There are no secrets, I'm willing to share. But I still hope the nonHRM D will get an update based on a real nonHRM amp someday.....

Thanks a ton for this preset. Anything beyond Fenders and Marshalls is usually way outside my comfort zone. With cab 105 and some minor EQ tweaks it's awesome!
