Well I took the plunge last night and used MFC-Edit to get a working Axe III foot controller.
So far I'm pleased with the results and while it has been discussed prior that you don't have the two way communication, the results are more than workable in the interim. Using Fractal-Bot, I backed up my MFC in AxeII mode and then used MFC-Edit to put together a working controller.
-I have 17 switches including Scene Select, Scene +, and Scene -.
-Reveal Mode works so I can still change presets.
-All the expression pedals and switches work as expected including two switches that sent midi to different channels outside of the axe III.
And while I'm still assembling presets, I can reload the prior MFC setup for the AXE II and use it for practice.
Still working on the first preset which I will replicate to create presets but hats off to Garry and MFC-Edit in the interim.
