Or need to get Ax8 II.
IMHO,Ax8 need more fire power.
CAB list reading process is very slow.
Back up via Fractal-Bot also horribly slow.
When user change Scene,X/Y,Preset,gap is always exists.
These were never happen with Fx2,in spite of using external 3rd party MIDI switch.

The AX8 is not an Axe-Fx II. It is a fanless design and cannot have processors that generate more heat. It was never designed to be an Axe-Fx II. It is slower than an Axe-Fx II and has less processing power.

Line 1: if you're experiencing gaps on scene changes you're mapping your block transitions wrong. Post a preset, maybe we can help. Scene changes are practically gap-less if you don't change X/Y state on engaged blocks.

Line 2: this is not true for the Axe-Fx II. You can certainly architect scene changes that cause gaps. And X/Y switching on active blocks generally incurs a small gap if the block is engaged during the switch. Presets have always had a gap -- scenes were invented to get around it, actually.

The AX8 is not the Axe Fx II, so why are you comparing them?

The AX8 was always sold as a lower powered device, with main function being to deliver the "Fractal tone" - which it does, well.

he's wishing for a processor upgrade because when he compares it to the Axe-Fx II, it's slower and does less. the comparison is where the wish comes from
