Problems with sound in a band mix

Hey
I am trying to get a good sound in my band with my FM9. But no matter how hard I try my sound always sounds muddy or even more silent in a band context with my lead guitarist using his Marshall amp with his DI out.

I tried using different models like Friedman and dizel. But no matter what I do my sound always gets lost in the mix.

Any tips?
Post some of the presets you don’t like so others can understand the issue. Otherwise we are all just guessing…

Any tips?
Start with a few factory presets which fit the genre you are playing instead of the custom built preset, just to see if they cut
Make sure you and another guitar player are properly levelled in terms of volume when nobody else is playing - maybe make yourself just a tad more louder
And most importantly, make sure his cab is pointed AT HIS HEAD, not at you :D. In 99% cases this will solve the "he's louder than me" momentarily, without any other actions :D :D

If this won't help, I'd say your monitoring is the problem.

Start by Less Bass (a lot), less gain and then had some mids.
Don’t change too much the amp eq but prefer to dial the output eq.

There’s not magic recipe.

It depends on too many things.. style, instruments in the band etc etc.

what takes a lot of times and trials and errors is finding the right balance between the tone that you want, the tone you are comfortable to play with and the tone that fits the band’s purposes.

That's the trifecta - Less bass, more mids, and only as much gain as you need, not what your fingers crave. Nailed it. It will make you a better player, too.
