Hi all,
I have had an issue with my FM3 where it will no longer boot up (switches on and stays on the FM3 Turbo screen but no progress bar). I've tried the recovery methods from the manual and tech support but none of them have worked (Home and power on, Edit and power on, both home & edit and power on).
I have entered the emergency utility menu (checked the DDR memory and all passed) and opened Fractal Bot as a suggested last resort. The loading screen I am able to get when trying to boot normally shows 9.01 in the bottom corner, but Fractal-Bot seems to think I am on Firmware 6.0. It is encouraging me to download the latest firmware 9.01 and latest dynacabs.
I follow the instructions, and the display on the unit says 'Firmware installed successfully'. The scribble strips say 'FM3 Update Completed' but Fractal Bot still says I'm on FW 6, and prompting me to download FW 9.01. I've repeated but no luck. The screen of my FM3 says 'firmware installed successfully' but has no prompt on where/what steps to take next
I have tried to install 9.02 beta but same problem persists. I am on the latest version of Fractal Bot and FM3 edit
Anyone have any suggestions? I am awaiting a tech reply, but may have been experienced by another user previously?
