Problem With Noise Gate!!! Possible BUG?

Whenever I patch a Noise Gate in the chain, the sound of my patch goes silent.
As soon as I shunt the Noise Gate, the sound comes back....any suggestions
 
Are you talking about the Gate/Exp block ?
If so, check your gate settings. Your threshold might be set too low and your ratio set too hi, which is causing your sound to be gated completely.

If you're looking for the noise gate, it's on the INPUT/GTE page of the LAYOUT menu; it's not a separate block. The Gate/Expander block is a different beast for a different purpose.
