problem! wha start working on its own on the treble side of it

hi there
Im new to the AX8 and yesterday happend something strange, it all started after ive connected an expression pedal to the unit.
I connected it, checked it, it worked fine, after i have disconnected it from the unit, the sound sometimes fliped and becomes fizzy, from what i see the wha start working on its own on the treble side of it.

Anyone knows about it?

Do you have the wah block set to auto-engage ? If yes, that's why.

I'll check, but isnt it supposed to be that way? ofcourse i know it could be but the pedal was not even connected to the unit when this happened

Auto-engage is not the default and requires a pedal attached. Turn off auto-engage and control the wah mute state via a footswitch in case you want to be able to use the preset without a pedal.

Ok, thats make sense.
Anyhow if it start working by itself even if the pedal is not attached then it seems to me like sort of a bug.

The AX8 h/w is probably not designed to detect if a pedal is connected or not. <hairsplit> I would call it a deficiency, not a bug </hairsplit>
