Pro Tools closing with "ASIO has been changed" error when using AxeFX as interface

I've been doing some recording with the AxeFX with great success, and just this weekend I've been running into a strange new error. With the AxeFX as my playback engine, if I make any changes, such as selecting a patch or tweaking a patch, while Pro Tools is doing something at the same time, Pro Tools closes with an error saying the the ASIO settings have been changed and the program needs to restart. I didn't have this problem until now, but maybe I wasn't interacting with the Axe as much before and simply didn't notice it. I know this is more of a Pro Tools question, but this forum has way more expertise using the AxeFX and any quirks that may accompany it.
