This seems like a no-bariner to me so please correct me if I'm wrong (I hope I am) but it seems that you can't send the Axe Fx II a tempo via MIDI without Axe Edit pausing communications. This makes re-amping and tweaking from a DAW a major pain. I need to be able to tweak the sound while having it sync to the tempo, is there a way - other than using the front panel, I can't edit that way, it's just horrendous.
