Normally when I load a preset, it display the preset tab on the LCD, ie. preset number, scene, song title, etc. If I highlight a block in Axe-Edit, lets say an amp. block, the LCD then displays the amp. block screen.
How do I get the LCD back to the preset tab from Axe-Edit?
you can't from Axe-Edit. you must press Recall on the Axe itself. Axe-Edit is an editor and not meant for use during performance (which includes rehearsing, practicing, etc.).
aside from things like the Compressor Gain Reduction meter in the Comp block, and similar things, the Front Panel isn't really intended for "use" while using Axe-Edit.
