Preset creation help

For some reason when I select an amp to use in a preset,the little picture comes up in the chain as black and white,yet on other presets,it's in colour.Does this mean anything and is it affecting my tone?

Does the colour come back when you press the space button on your computer?

Do you know how to engage and bypass blocks? Is the Amp block bypassed?

Black-and-white means the block is bypassed. And yes, bypassing a block will change your tone.
