I JUST got my first bass guitar today, it's a Dean Edge 5. Pretty nice for the money, I'd say.

Anyway I already bought a peavy TNT 1x15 combo but I will definitely give the ax a shot. I would have to figure how to run the ax through the cab and disconnect the amp/preamp I guess(?). I say that because if I a/b the 15" with ax fx/peavy amp, I could actually compare, instead of running it with the ax preamp PLUS the peavey preamp. blah blah blah nevermind lol

if the Peavey has an effects loop, connect the Axe output the the fx return - this will bypass the Peavey's preamp.
