Pre Amp in FX Loop - Sounds different in Simulation Modes

Hi to everyone in the Forum.

I have a litte problem with a Tube Preamp in the FX Loop. When i use with a Tube Power Amp it Sounds good and "right".

But when i use it with the Speaker Cabinet Simulation Mode over the line Out into the studio Monitors it seems to me that the Simulation of the Power Amp is missing in the sound. The Sound has not the full depth like. In this mode the preamps of the Axe Fx sound better than the real tube....

What am i doing wrong? How can i use a Power Amp Modulation after the FX Loop?

Put the FXL before the amp block.

Hi Hubertus,

Thanks for your answer.
I took a Preset from the Axe and put the FX-Loop on the Position of the Preamp.
So it must have been on the correct position (before the Amp Block).
But wthout the Amp Block the Power Am Section is missing; so i think..

You need an Amp block to get power amp simulation.use the Tube Pre model. Keep the tone controls at noon.
