Just curious - is the front power switch the same as removing power from the unit externally?
I ask because I have the AXE III wired to my Furman, which has also powers my speakers/ subs and mixer.
All that is wired to a Google Home WiFi outlet, which I turn on and off by voice control, so rather than turning off the Axe via the front power switch, I simply say "Hey Google, Power off" and the rack and speakers shut down.
I haven't had any issue to date, but was wondering if the power switch in front had a shutdown sequence built in - like a PC. Doesn't feel like it, but thought I'd ask anyway.
