Power supply

does anybody know if the mfc can be powered with a strymon ojai? I'm considering to get a smaller pedalboard and would like to have one single power supply for mfc/wireless jack/battery charger. Cat5 is not an option as I've had lots of problems during gigs with it, so I'd rather stay away from it.

Are you using MIDI or Faslink between MFC and Axe FX? I'm using CAT 5 with no issues myself, but I know you've had a lot of trouble with it - so I understand you want to stay away from CAT 5. But if I'm not mistaken, the Axe FX can power the MFC through either 7-pin MIDI or Faslink?

I'm using midi. My axe fx is a mk2 so it doesn't have faslink, and since I still need power on the pedalboard to power the wireless jack and the battery charger I figured I'd go for an all in one solution within the pedalboard, so that's why I was asking about the ojai, which is very small and compact and would be perfect.

You should be fine with a strymon ojai. Each port puts out 9V DC at 500mA. I power my MFC with 9V DC just fine.

Just keep in mind that the MFC power jack has AC dimension pin:

You might need a custom cable with a 2.1mm on the Strymon Ojai end and a 2.5mm on the MFC end. The DC voltage would be fine though.

Got it, thanks!

if you have power at your pedal board any ways, use the mfc power supply?
Like I said in my op, I'd like to save space and have a small power supply such as the ojai to power everything as opposed to a multi outlet strip with more adaptors
