Power amp sim only

Hi, I'm new here.

I bought my Axe FX II three months ago and I'm very satisfied.
I just have a problem, I would like to use it with my tube preamps and play guitar quietly and I would like to use an amp block with poweramp sim only + cab block.
It seems that I can't cut a preamp in the amp block. Am I wrong ?

True. It has been asked for before, but IIRC Cliff felt it would expose too much of his magic to reverse engineering.

Out of curiosity, what preamps are you using that the Axe doesn't replicate adequately. Cause I have a Boogie Triaxis I need to sell

You can get pretty close to a PA sim using the tube pre model set low gain and flat can't you?
