After a marathon of sorts yesterday with my AxeFx I have come to a crossroads of sorts ... I am not ready or setup to go fully through a PA, I hope to set up all my presets with the ability to go straight to the PA plus handle an existing power amp/cab. I read how using the effects loop block before the cab lets you tap off the loop outs to go into your power amp/cab setup and essentially avoid running the signal through two cabs.
But what does everyone do about the power amp itself in the preset? I can't find a routing solution to avoid the preset power amp if I am using both a PA and my power amp/cab setup. Or should I leave the power amp setting for the PA, and adjust for this on the physical power amp?
Maybe a better question is what settings in the amp patch are considered duplicates if you use a real power amp for one of your outputs, and can those settings be routed?
Thanks!
