Power Amp Power Tube Type Selection

If I understand this correctly all we have to do is set the transformer match to the „correct“ value depending on the impedance difference or ratio between tube type the original transformer is matched to and the new tube type. So why don‘t we just make a list of the desired impedances for all the different tubes? Then we could the calculate the transformer match by ourselves easily.

Would it not be easier the to have an
Auto Match switch that you turn on it sees the tube type and select the correct. Impedance , transformer match and bias for you ?

I think the biggest question would be will having something like that
Be a noticeable audio difference
Or feel or just subtle that isnt really perceptiable
Only Cliff could answer that one

Just twist the transformer match and impedance buttons back and forth and rock on.
