poor man's cab mix

if you need to save 10% of CPU power in a preset but you really need those 4 IRs, then in a pinch you can use the tonematch to mix your IRs. I feel it's missing some fine detail in an A-B comparison, but it's pretty close.

If you do this more than once or twice it's probably still worth to just go and purchase cab lab, though.

I was just looking into cab lab and read that sadly you can't mix factory cabs because they can't be exported.
While looking around the forum I found out not only wasn't I being as original as I thought, there's also a better way to do this using a sine sweep.

The results sound more accurate as well.

I had to boost the user cab at 6.6 dB to get to the same level as the originals.

Remember tonematches are mono, so make sure all your cabs are panned together when you set their relative levels in the cab block.
