Hi all,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I just purchased an AXIII and I want to get a rack case for it. Only need enough space for the AXIII, and only to keep dust and dirt off it (I rarely gig anymore).

Thanks in advance.

any 3 space case, really. there are soft, hard, shock, etc options. maybe go with a soft case since it's light.

Maybe this.....is not too pricey with great protection too at 10" depth:

I have the handles of the AxeFx III protruding out at 1.10" not 1.20"

This is their 3u at 14" depth:

I myself am looking to see if their 4u case will work for the dimensions of AxeIII and Line 6 half rack wireless. It's 10" depth from front rack rail to rear rack rail taking into account the case lid depth as well accommodating the handles.

.......or may have to be this 14" depth from front rack rail to rear rack rail will have to do for my needs:

Thanks guys, I appreciate the suggestions. I'm thinking of going with this one. Nice to get helpful replies instead of being berated for asking such a basic question.

You might want to check out the thread titled "Rack problems Gator G-Pro" first (sorry, haven't quite figured out how to link a different thread into this one!

Support the rear? What do you mean?

My Gator G-Shock 4L has rear support options:

“In addition, Gator G-SHOCK has another exclusive - a moveable rear support system! This does away with needing a machine shop in your garage to make a rear support for your power amps or rack gear.”

The AxeFxIII in this case is supported only in the front rail.

It doesn’t seem like it would need it considering the shallow depth of the AxeIII.....but since the support is there ....?

If you want to, but shouldn't be necessary.

I have little experience with SKB, yet I really like the rear rack rails on the Gator stuff.
4 space rolling rack with in-ears in space 4 and then my Shure wireless in the back rail.
Effectively a 5 space with enough space in the lids for antennae.

Everything is plugged in and all I have is midi cable and power cable from my Furman 6 outlet that is Velcro’d In there as well. Just perfect for me.

There’s also an all wood version that I considered, yet this is really affordable.

Of course, YMMV
