Hey guys,
I messed around with octaving my guitars via quad tracking. In this example there are 2 tracks hard panned left and right on Eb6 and for the heavy open 0's I used 2 extra tracks hard panned left and right, an octave higher. For the chorus I also doubled the guitars.
I think Periphery used this method as well for their latest albums.
