pizzicato strings

Does anyone have a good patch for mimicking pizz strings?

I could try doing it in guitar-land but I was thinking of trying the synth. I've heard some moog sounds before that definitely got in the ballpark...

it's all about the resonance, so it sounds like a violin etc. the actual "pizz" part is the technique of muting the strings after plucking the note.

i got a similar sound using the violin IR that is floating around, though i wasn't specifically going for pizzicato strings.

Using the violin patch, I would think using a gate after the synth and before effects would yield satisfactory results.

I turned off the synth blocks in the violin patch for staccato playing.
