Pink Floyd "Sorrow" intro guitar riff

that sounds legit. i may be playing with that one a bit over the weekend.
Many thanks!!!

I know the first link i posted is a bit more "modern-ized" than what the original track sounds like.

I had a second go at it and tried to get closer to the original. I'm using humbuckers so it won't sound exactly like singles which i'm sure Gilmour used on the track.

I attached the preset if anyone wants to try it out.

What did you use on the first post to make it sound more modernized?

I can't remember the exact settings at the moment, but here is a picture of my patch. I know i used a Fuzz Face Drive in front of the amp and i think i used the Clark Kent's Gift to Mankind IR.

Out of interest, the original studio tone was a Steinberger with EMG's into a Big Muff (no idea what sort), through a Fender Super Champ.
This was then played through the PA at an arena in LA for the huuuuge reverb

I'm still toying with trying to recreate that huge reverb for my patch. Wish i had a whammy bar to play it correctly.
