Piezo alternative?

I'm looking for the piezo type sound without the piezo as it won't work with the bridge hardware I am using for a new guitar. I want to be able to blend the Piezo sound with my magnetic pickups and I'm hoping that there's some other solution out there that I've never heard of. Any ideas?

You can use one of those stick-on piezo body pickups that are used for classical guitars or concert strings without active pickups and attach it to different points of your guitar body. It will probably need some serious fiddling to find a "sweet spot", though, as electric guitars won't resonate a lot. You might get the best results at the headstock. If your guitar is semi-hollowbody, the top might also work.

I'm not sure if the sound is good then. They are meant for classical instruments after all. But it won't hurt trying, as those are pretty cheap.
