Pedals between Guitar and AX8 input

Origin Effects Slide Rig, can't figure out how to get good slide tone with built in compressors, open to all suggestions.

I fried my Cry baby Wah when I tried to Mod it. Hopefully he AX8 Wah effect is good. I ordered an EV-1 with the unit as well..

I did a similar thing... All is not lost, however. Buy one of these and a Switchcraft TRS jack and turn it into an expression pedal. That's what I did and it works great.

You can also put a pedal in the effect loop before the amp .And you can choose if yes or not you want to use it.

I can do the same with my EP Booster - i press the footswitch on the EP to choose if it's on or off One less cable running it in front too..

When you say you put it in the effect loop before the amp why not just not put it in the loop at all and save CPU.

Heard that Slide Rig pedal is amazing

I'm using a Digitech Drop in front of the Ax8. The pitch wham wasn't handling the drops very well. Lots of lag.

I use Digitech Whammy DT in front of my AX8 mainly because whammy and drop tune on AX8 really sucs
No other pedals in standalone mode or in 4cable method with my MarkV...
