I do sometimes. If I'm reading the manual for a new piece of gear, I can often learn more just by zooming in on the graphics. And it's fascinating to see the level of detail that some manuals include.

They're called Easter eggs. Little things the developers/writers throw in just to see if anyone notices.
Maybe stick to TGP, they're a bit more serious about gear.
