Tried this matching EQ today for the first time, and I got closer than I've ever been before. Finally the fat and chunky low end I've been looking for. There's still a lot to improve, but I'm very happy with it for being my first take on this matching thing.
The playing is a little sloppy, I haven't been able to convert it to a syx IR yet, so I had to record and monitor the the Axe-Fx signal with the cabinet turned off which made a little harder to play. When I manage to get the IR, I'll start fine tuning the preset, removing some excessive bass and add some presence etc.
