Output Level Differences between Axe Fx3 - Fm3?

Hey guys I am comparing Axe Fx3 and Fm3 and what I discover that Axe Fx3 is louder than Fm3 via XLR outputs. (Both units output levels are -10 DB).
And they say the sounds are identical for both units..
Did you experinced any level differences between two units?

The sounds (tones) are identical, I don't recall anything stated that the volume is the same between the Axe III and FM3.

Report back. I for one am curious about the difference. But anecdotal evidence is just that.

I see in my mixer that FX III is about 6 dB louder than FM3.

My setup: identical guitar, guitar cable, XLR cables and mixer. I am very sure that the presets in both units are identical. Output configuration in both units is set to +4dBu.

That's a curious decision. What's the reasoning there?

Seems to have about 3-6db better D/A converter hiss performance too. Related?
