    Greedings!

Me and my friend Trvlnfool did some Axe FX II Live Tone Matches ,we did capture few tones out of Original Mesa Boogie Triaxis Preamp. Settings what we did use in Original Mesa Boogie Triaxis ,was some of John Petrucci:s settings what he did use Live Studio Clinic etc for Triaxis...

Mostly there was Triaxis Yellow channel engage for distortion tones ,like Petrucci did use a lot that channel for Leads. But few presets have different channel ,you can hear that clearly when overall voicing will change a lot there.

We also did use this time more than one guitar ,for those Live Tone Matches. Mostly there was some Mahogany guitars whit different active and passive pickups ,and also some Clean TM:s did have both bridge and neck pickups engage.

Here is also some quick tone test ,for Lead and Clean channels. I was use there some Ownhammer Mesa Boogie 412 V30 Recto IR:s ,Lead and Clean both have different Ownhammer 412 Recto IR:s. Clean tone i did use one gate block and two Compressor blocks ,that Lead tone was dry straight forward Amp-TM-Cab.

Right on Dimebucker! Downloading now and can't wait to try them. The clips sound great and are right up my alley tone wise. If they are anywhere near as good as your Mark IV TM's, then I should love them. :)

What firmware are you on (I know you didn't like the changes made awhile back and stopped updating)?

Great job on these Dimebucker. :encouragement:

I've only spent a little time with them, but my early favorites are the 2 "Studio" patches from the Leads folder. Haven't messed with the Clean patches yet.

Thanks nice to hear bro ,yeah those 2 "Studio" TMs are new ERA Petrucci settings. I think those settings was Triaxis "Mark IV" channel or Triaxis "Mark III" channel ,i could be wrong but somehow i remember those were IV or III. Voicing is little bit modern for those 2 "Studio" TMs ,if you compare those to 90s settings what there is lots of also. 90s he did use lots of Yellow channel "Mark IIC" ,for leads bro. But try Clean patches too there is some great presets too also bro :encouragement:

Newbie question: Is there any reason why would I can't get any sound from any of these? I've been downloading tons of these from the site and they usually work no problem. Thanks!

Have you check that Cab block ,because i think that is empty i did use my own Custom IR there. You must put IR/Cabinet there to get sounds ,and use Fractal Bot to import those presets for your Axe FX II. And also if you use older firmware than 13.07 then these do not work ,check what firmware you have there also.
