Only Getting 4 Scenes Per Song - Need 5!?!

Hmmm... I guess I never went to 5 before because I just found out my '5" button won't change scenes. Can I please get a quick bit of advice how I can set up 5-8 buttons to to get my full 8 scenes?

Do you get a MIDI IN light on the front of the AxeFXII when you press it?

If yes then it is an MFC configuration issue and you'll need to set it up.

If no then the button is probably not engaging correctly. Stomp on it about a million times to see if it cleans the contact. And by stomp I mean just press it on and off a bunch.

he's using an mfc with v 3.0, the switch does indeed work. we just had to re-assign the switch Axe function in the Edit-Midi menu. it was controlling the looper :)

so this has been resolved.
 
Here's a step by step:

1. EDIT
2. MIDI (#4)
3. #7 (Page Rt.) 7x to get to IA01 Axe-Fx ________
4. Use UP to change to IA05
5. Press #12 to select the Axe-Fx function
6. Use UP/DOWN to select SCENE 5
7. Press EXIT/SAVE

You can also set IA 6-8 in the same way to Scene 6-8.
 
It did come in handy. It was 45 minutes before rehearsal, I had looked thru my menus but forgot that scenes were in the IA assignment menu. Chris was at the help desk!! Voila! Problem soved in just a few minutes. With Chris' tutelage, I also started adding some x/y blocks so... Productive day! Although, my wife might disagree...;-)
