I finally got the last piece of the puzzle today by FINALLY buying a midi keyboard. Seems silly, but I've never owned one. This finally allows me to play the drums in real time which adds a lot to the realism IMO.
I sat down and simply hammered out a bunch of one takes and put the pieces together to form this 30 seconds of metal. Messy mess of a mess, but it can show the power of a ONe man band with a half hour to spare

Bass and guitar through axe fx (of course)... so everything in that recording was done "in the box"
(now I know I'm a dwarf among giants of metal in this forum! I'm out of my element, but I had fun...)
