One Control Switch for Two Parameters?

Problem I am trying to solve:
I want a single FC button press to toggle one block's bypass on and another block's bypass off. I don't want to use a different scene. Both blocks will use the same external pedal as a controller. One block is early in the chain (wah) and another block is at the end (tremolo effect). If they were sequential in the chain, I could just use the multiplexer.

In reading the manual, I am seeing this CONTROL SWITCH LINK function - am I barking up the right tree here?

No need. Assign the same Control Switch to both blocks' bypass parameter. In one of the modifiers, swap the Start and End values. That will make it toggle one on and the other off.
