Oldies

I've been stuck on the XM 60's station.

The wife and I have been NetFlix'ing Mad Men.

I had forgotten how influenced I am musically from the 60's styles.

Many, many years ago, when I was 18 or 19, I went to a sci-fi convention. One night I was in a hotel room with a bunch of friends, and out of the blue, someone broke into that song. "deee dee dee dee dee Aweemhoweh Aweemhoweh" and then someone else joined in... after a bit, 9 or 10 people had joined in for an extended version, about half singing "Aweemoweh" and half singing the words.
It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever heard, out of the blue, unplanned.
