(I hope I don't get verbally beat up for posting so many threads here, but.....)
Is there anyone who has the older Atomic 112/50 watt tube amp (that was meant to mount a POD), and can comment on how it compares to the new Atomic FR's?
If anyone has seen my other threads, I'm trying to make a power amp decision (torn because I like using my tube power amp for it's natural feel.....but want to be able to use the Axe Power Amp sims to get the full color of all the different amp models). I've been looking for a middle ground...and maybe this is it.
A used Atomic 112-50 (older style) has come up fro sale in my area for around $400. http://www.atomicamps.com/products-112-50.html
Wondering if this is a good purchase...or if I should just save up and buy the newer model.
