Hey guys,

We did a video for the song "Can I Borrow Your Bass" off our debut album (released about a year ago). My drummer is a huge fan of 80s and 90s rock, and there's heaps of hidden references all through the video to take you down memory lane.

The track itself was done over a year ago. If memory serves me well, this was around the time Quantum was first released, which is I recall the firmware used was. The rhythm tones are a combination of HBE and Diezel VH4 channel 3, with Ownhammer IRs. Leads were a JVM. Had a lot of fun putting this track together, but from the looks of it, the drummer had more fun making the video. Hope you guys enjoy it :)

Here is our video animation for 'Can I Borrow Your Bass'. Be warned this animation is (probably) M18.

Picture it: A zoo, somewhere in time….

Nikki Sixx is passing through a zoo on his way to a ‘blood for bass’ trade, when his bass is ‘borrowed’ by a sexually frustrated monkey who believes that it will help him best the alpha male at winning the erotic favor of the female of the species. His success leads the other subordinate male of various species, blinded by passion and warfare, to replicate (with aplomb) the mating ritual. The resulting frenzy of coitus can only be interrupted by the one they call… ‘The Demon’.

How much blood will be spilt? What will become of this motley crew? Is ‘The Demon’ one of those ironic names, like a large person called ‘Tiny’? Is there really no country for old men? Watch “Can I Borrow Your Bass” to learn the chilling answer to just some of these questions!
