Actually I find this pretty funny....pretty similar in feel and structure....;)

PS: It's not the same amp - my Bassman ODS Patch is made of a Bassguy '59 and a heavy tweaked Zen Drive block in front. The Fw18 patch is a ODS Lead 3 (nonHRM, some might call it ODS Ford), pretty basic settings, just a bit less bass in the tonestack, more overdrive than the default settings. Same cabinet (Rumble 4x12" EV12L stock IR) ....but it sounds & feels pretty similar. The Bassman has a bit more clarity, less warmth.....anyway I have to tweak it

More on this in a few days, I need some time to re-tweak my settings8)

if you want that sound out of a real amp, you don't have to spend 50k for a Rumble Box, get the WizPedal vom Wiz Electronics Inc. -> MINI-D | WIZ-PEDAL - I cloned that pedal in the axefx (the heavy tweaked drive block - sounds & feels pretty much the same) and put it in front of a clean fender amp - man, that thing pushes your tone into stratosphere:ugeek

bottom of line, well done FAS! Well done!

Cheers
Paco

It be interesting to review the changes you made to the Bassman block and the Zen Drive block.
It really does have a more ODS sound to it.
Can you make the Bassman preset available?

thanks,

did you use the same patch for the Bassman that you posted in another thread earlier

Yes - but use the patch postet on the 2nd page in my thread, this has just a little more brightness.

@ loopie: go in the preset exchange forum and search for my Bassman ODS Thread. I posted this a while ago.

all the best
Paco

I like ODS the best. The pick and warmth is outstanding... attack clear and pickey, but not a hint of harsh. Then the warm overdrive fading into clean. That's it, dumbler than dumble... :)
