[NSFW] PRS Guitar Porn

I just played a Custom 24 a couple weeks ago, it’s been over a decade since I last picked up a PRS. Man, what a treat of a guitar. I loved absolutely everything about it. The kicker was that it was used, had dead strings and was in dire need of a setup, but it still felt amazing.

I’ve got a list of guitars I want to get and it was nice enough that I considered moving a PRS to the top of the list. Not sure I could convince myself to spend over $2K on a guitar, but I see some Customs pop up around $1300-$1600.

How do you search Reverb for custom 24 but omit SEs? Tried -se, no joy.

I got a 35th Anniversary Custom 24 in October (first one I'd played in 20 years), and bought two more PRS guitars the next month. They're awesome guitars.

The "not:" operator, like: custom 24 not:se

Cool thanks.

However, these don't appear to work, which I wish would :
custom 24 not:se,s2
custom 24 not:se not:s2

Yeah, I really wish they had a more robust search function, or exposed product search in the API. I found the "not" operator when I was searching for a non-594 McCarty. When searching for core guitars, you can get pretty close by filtering on minimum price.

Yeah, the SE's I've played have been hit or miss but even the hits didn't feel like the 'legit' Custom 24 I played. Ya gotta weed through 'em all if you want to find a good deal!

PRS does indeed make some great guitars.

For usa's I've had: custom 22 trem, custom 22 wraptail, artist V (wish I coulda got more $ for that one, and that i didnt have to sell it for touring turned car repair) and my current 2017 594.

I want an SC 594 HBii next, though that's gonna be 2 $$$$ guitars on the rack.

I have 2 SE's, and the 513 that's in my avatar. One plays at least as well as the 513, maybe even better, although the 513 is my main guitar because versatility. The other SE I'd say is good, but not great. It's been so long since I've played a core I really have nothing to compare to.

I've always wanted to own a PRS, just haven't found the right one... after watching this video I'm worried my standard may have been pushed higher lol
