Noob question....cant hear downloaded presets?

I know I must be missing something here. I just downloaded a violin patch but get no sound when i load it on axe edit. What could I be doing wrong?

With the violin patch, IIRC you need the cab IR in the right slot as well.

If you don't have the correct cab IR, either bypass the cab or replace the user cab with any of the stock ones.

Check the cab - if it's set to something like "User 15", and you don't have a cab in User 15, that'd do it.

Some People will also use Volume Blocks.
Either Shunt Them or Disconnect the Expression Pedal and Dial them to 5
