Noises with wah

Hi everyone, deeply sorry if I chose a wrong section for my question.
I have a G-Lab Wowee Wah and want to keep it in the rig for sentimental and quality questions ^^

It generates hissing when on, and when I stop playing there is a 1 second high hiss, I think I can hear it while playing.
I tried every setting, the volume boost on it gives more hissing.

It's currently powered by its power adapter, I can try with a 9V battery tomorrow.

Is it common and tweakable or do I encounter a ground issue (no ground on the adapter)

Well...It's always nice to get rid of an issue, but my apologies for jumping in to create a topic a little too fast ^^
No noise anymore because I had the chance of finding another power adapter and it solved the issue...Don't know why (plus I don't have to manage battery yeah!)

I know the axe is full of good wahs, but as a birthday present from my wife 5 years ago, this wah just sounds different :)
