Nice Rack Canada recently built & programmed this Fractal Audio AX8 pedalboard system for our repeat customer, Bruce Cisterna of Sensation.
Sensation is a working band that has been gigging in the GTA for over 20 years, playing a variety of musical styles to suit client demand for all manner of social events.
With such a varied repertoire to suit the band's wide ranging purchaser demographic, the guitar rig has to be as flexible as possible in tone, functionality & stage volume.
Bruce has worked with a few different pedalboard systems that all used analog tube amplifiers, which in every case yielded great tone but sometimes at a volume that wasn't always desirable for each venue.
The Fractal Audio AX8 platform paired with a QSC K12 powered monitor is the ultimate set of tone tools for Bruce's needs. A comprehensive set of studio grade effects, amplifier models & speaker models that can be changed & re-ordered per preset at a stage volume that works for every single venue.
Some of the features Nice Rack Canada built into the system include Switchable UHF or Cable input, an Expression "Switch" assignable per preset, Switchable FOH & Monitor Isolation Transformers.
