I was watching the thread here about Acoustic's with a cutaway, and someone mentioned Breedlove. I started looking at them and almost pulled the trigger on one of their nicer budget models. (If GC hadn't messed things up, I probably would have.)
They are right here in Oregon, about 100 miles or so from me, and I found that one of our local stores has them. I played an Oregon Dreadnought in the store and absolutely loved it. No cutaway, but it sounded so rich and full that I started scheming on how to get one. Ended up finding a used 1998 in great condition and a whole lot less money than new, so I snagged it. Came in last night and it is by far the best acoustic guitar I've played, let alone owned. Very happy and I'm also pretty stoked that it was made in my home state.
