It's actually very comfortable for me. My hand slides easily up and down the neck. You get used to the feel after about 2 minutes of playing on it.

To elaborate on my covetous earlier post:

That Zelinsky is beatuiful, and has exactly the aesthetics that I'd been contemplating for a custom build: Red with black pickguard and gold hardware. I'd been planning on having a black-painted headstock with white logo-script on it, gold frets with white pearloid inlays, and white pickup bobbins (but gold-colored pole-pieces/rails), to produce a consistent red-black-gold-white "antique fire truck vibe." But the gold tops of the Zelinsky pickups are pretty awesome, too.

I like those locking tuner lock knobs. I have a guitar with Sperzels and they are like trying to tighten with a pizza cutter wheel. Are those Schaller?
